Common
Pool Questions
It's Summer again, and we've been
getting a lot of questions about
the community pool.
This seems the perfect place to
try and answer them for you - and
let you know the 'what
and why'
of things.
Remember you can always
contact the Board
and the Pool Committee with
any additional questions and/or
concerns you might have.

- Why don't we have lawn
furniture at the pool?
In the most recent past it
was decided not to
invest in lawn furniture. We
have/had been experiencing
some vandalism at the pool
and believe any furniture
unless secured into the deck
itself, would end up outside
the pool area or in the bottom
of the pool.
- Why
isn't the pool open later
then 9:00 P.M. The
pool will be open until
10 P.M. all Summer!
There are several reasons we
are not open later then 9:00
P.M.
A. The homeowners
around the perimeter
of the pool call the board
members about
noise when the pool is open
after nine; they get the full
sound late at
night.
B. With
the current locking system,
a person has to go lock
& unlock the pool every
morning
and evening throughout
the pool season. This person
is also responsible for
asking
anyone in the pool area at
closing to leave. At this time
we have one resident
handling
the locks with one other resident
as back-up. We would appreciate
any
additional volunteers
to join our committee!
- Is the City requiring
any changes?
Yes, we need to install a new
entry gate.
- What other plans are there
for the pool area?
We're getting
bids on new picnic
tables as the current ones
are falling apart; new cool
decking to replace the old
chipped and repaired one;
possibly re-opening
one of the bathrooms and
kitchen area. The new entry
gate would have a coded
key-pad to better control
entry into the pool area
and stop additional vandalism.
